Year 6 students are starting to publish their ePortfolios / Blogs which they are very excited about. ePortfolios and Blogs are great because students can share their work and reflections with a wider audience. Instead of just teachers seeing their great work, students can now share their learning with families, friends and peers who can comment and give feedback.
The Year 6 teachers are now getting ready to work with the students in modelling and teaching what reflective writing (blog entry) is and how to write appropriate comments on other student's blogs. To help everyone understand more about the how and why, attached below is a copy of the Year 6 ePortfolio Policy for you to read.
Staff and students would like some feedback about this new venture at TPPS to help determine the next stage in online work presentation. Please let us know.
